Smart, multifunctional dosing system

The PACKSYS ampoule applicator is a combination of an opening aid and a dosing system. It enables OPC or coloured ring glass ampoules to be opened safely and cleanly, and then transforms them into a convenient application system.

With various attachments – such as spray pumps, roll-ons or dab applicators – the liquid is applied hygienically, in a controlled manner and comfortably. The base also serves as a stand for opened ampoules and reliably protects the contents from leakage and contamination.

The traditional method of opening ampoules can be challenging for many users: cuts from glass splinters, inaccurate breaking or uncertainty when opening often lead to unpleasant handling.

Design and function

The ampoule applicator consists of three parts:

Lower section with opening aid – facilitates clean and safe breaking of the glass ampoule
Body with standard thread and viewing window – allows the fill level and product information to be checked
Various applicators & protective cap – interchangeable for different applications

Thanks to its modular design, the applicator is reusable: empty ampoules can be easily replaced and new ones inserted.

The various inserts are suitable for liquid pharmaceutical and cosmetic products and enable direct application to the intended area:

Topical applications – e.g. serums, cosmetic active ingredient concentrates
Oral applications – e.g. vitamin or mineral solutions
Nasal applications – for certain pharmaceutical products

When spraying, each spray delivers exactly the same amount for reliable and even application. When dabbing or using a roll-on, the amount applied can be flexibly adjusted so that you can control the dosage individually.

Reusable packaging solution

The ampoule applicator is a sustainable and flexible solution: empty ampoules can be easily replaced – simply remove the lower part and replace the used ampoule with a new one.

Cleaning ampoules can also be used for multiple applications. This flushes the system, making it immediately ready for use with other ampoules.
