The history of our globule dispenser
Homeopathic products have been gaining in popularity as an alternative healing method for years. The exact and hygienic dosage of globules was therefore a challenge that we gladly took on in 2009. Two years of intensive work led to our first prototype: A dosing cap for glass bottles with a pressure mechanism that allowed individual dosing of the small globules. The development was awarded the German Packaging Prize in 2011.
Further months of optimization followed. The pure cap was turned into a self-contained system made of plastic with a matching dosing plate. In January 2014, the dispenser was finally ready for us to launch it in its current form. It was sold exclusively to a German company in the pharmaceutical sector.
Now, six years later, other customers can also benefit from our development. The dispenser system has been freely available since 2020 and scores with its user-friendliness and hygiene.
Our globule dispenser is now freely available
The globule dispenser is a multi-part system consisting of the actual dispenser and a stand which can also be used as a dosing plate. Probably the biggest advantage of the globule dispenser is the clean individual dosing. With conventional inserts often more globules are taken out than desired. Surplus globules are returned to the packaging, which results in contamination of the contents.
Functionality and advantages of the globule dispenser
The PACKSYS globule dispenser works by means of a pressure mechanism that opens a small hole at the bottom of the container, through which only one single globule falls out per pressure. The system allows one-handed application, the globules can be dispensed into the other hand, directly onto the tongue or onto the enclosed plate. The dispenser has been designed so that it is no longer necessary to place it on the head.
The system is self-contained and therefore guarantees protection against refilling and against contamination by dust or moisture. All parts are assembled in a clean room, so the dispenser meets the highest hygiene standards. Due to the complete production from plastic parts, the system is also particularly light and unbreakable, making it the ideal companion when travelling. It can also be completely recycled in this way.
